I’ve been providing therapy and counseling for over 30 years, working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families across settings including private practice, universities, K-12 schools, outpatient clinics, and inpatient hospitals. I’m trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and behavioral modification, and today I specialize in helping high achievers, perfectionists, and people-pleasers overcome anxiety, stress, and burnout.

I believe thoughts play a powerful role in how we perceive ourselves, others, and our world — and that thinking patterns can be changed. My approach blends positively focused CBT with Positive Psychology to help clients build a growth mindset and experience genuine confidence and peace.

I was born in the Middle East and grew up in North Carolina. Traveling extensively growing up exposed me to a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and lifestyles — experiences that shaped my ability to connect easily with people and understand many kinds of challenges and hardships. I believe that early life paved the path for my desire to understand, problem-solve, and facilitate positive change.
